This project focuses on the truth of a single verse in the Bible.In the Book of Matthew, Christ mentioned some omens, saying there would be some miraculous visual occurances in the world.He said that these miracles would not be made by him but by some pretenders, and all should not believe them. Christ also said the appearance of these miracles would indicate the coming of catastrophes. The paradox is that, if pretenders can create miracles that precede catastrophes, why should we not believe them? If Christ admonished his believers to not believe the pretenders who created miracles, because they were false prophets, doesn't he contradict himself when he talks of the catastrophes foretold by their miracles? Thus it is that the artists came to believe that by creating an apocalyptic vision, whether a lie, an omen or an artwork, even Jesus would thus have to admit that it might be a prophecy. Thus to be an artist is to be a false prophet and to tell lies.

这是一个关于圣经里马太福音中一个段落的真伪性讨论, 在这个章节里， 基督曾经讲过某些预兆：就是在世界上将出现一些奇异的景象。基督说这些 奇异的景象不是他自己所为，而是一些冒牌货干的，大家不能相信他们； 同时又说，这些现象的出现预兆大灾难的来临。这成了一个悖论，既然 冒牌货能够预兆大灾难，为什么不能相信他们？既然基督不让信徒们相信冒牌货，就说明冒牌货什么也预兆不了，他只能说谎，而这一点又被基督 自己的话否定了。因此艺术家认为，他只需要制造一个灾难似的场景， 无论它是个谎言，预兆，还是作品，总之基督都不得不承认，它将兑现成 某种预言。作者只需要大胆的做他的假先知和说谎者。
