Da Zhong Electronic Store Cashier Didn’t Notice What She Was Doingr
PengYu
The artists were in an electrical store when they noticed the cashier’s mouse pad. Everyone who had to pay had to wait for a few seconds at the cash desk, if they paid by credit card the cashier gave them the mouse pad in order to sign the receipt. The waiting time spent at the cashier desk became a moment for some sort of unconscious flow of thoughts. This didn’t happen only because they were bored by what they were doing, but in most cases it happened just because they weren’t aware of what they were doing. The artists think that the great majority of the “creations” on the mouse pad come from the cashier herself and that only some of them were made by the customers.
